Hola Asuncion

On Saturday, we leisurely woke up after getting almost 12 hours sleep. It was nice to be in a bed after our ordeal. We had breakfast with Vicky and Sebastian then put on our swimsuits and headed to the pool with Vicky. We laid out for about an hour and a half, reading and swimming.

Ate lunch around 1:30pm and then took a siesta.

After, Vicky drove us around the city of Asuncion, and we stopped to explore an outdoor market. The native Paraguayans make beautiful, intricate woven Ao Po'i pieces ranging from shirts to table cloths. They also have countless stands selling thermos that people use to drink Terere.

Later, we picked up Sebastian, so he could join us at Cafe de Aca. We sipped on iced coffees, to cool us from the 85+ degree weather, and shared local pastries.

Stopped at a supermarket, where we got some veggies for dinner. Headed home, ate dinner, and went to sleep.
