Dimanche a Romans

On Sunday, we paid a visit to the small town of Romans with the Pouthier family. This town is famous for manufacturing shoes! Kate, of course, was very excited... However, in France, or at least in the little towns, stores are closed on Sundays and Mondays. No fun! Oh well.
We still got to walk through the Sunday marché and window shop for shoes. We were impressed at how cheap good cheese and bread is in the market! A small round of chevre is sold for €1! In the US it would usually cost around $10.
Then we were invited to lunch at a small restaurant in the middle of town.
