Beach in December

Enjoyed breakfast outside (albeit slightly chilly in the morning), then ventured toward Lagos. There we stopped at a couple look-outs, one that even let us climb down to the ocean to see the grottos.

Eventually, we found a beach that was completely empty (almost no foot tracks), and we decided to spend the afternoon soaking in the rays.

There were even some caves for Martin to explore. (Although a pigeon didn't like us intruding on his territory... So he took a nose dive flight straight towards us and we ran out the other way!)

Relaxed there for a few hours, enjoyed lunch and curiously watched the only visitor to our beach, a brave snorkeler who was in the water for over an hour.

After the beach, we walked the streets of Lagos. However, being low season, it was fairly uneventful.

Made another delicious dinner together. A perfect day for relaxation and spending our last day enjoying the warm beach weather. Heading north...
