St. Tropez & the fisherman's cabin

Woke up early to go for a run and see the sunrise at the beach. When we got back to the hotel, we enjoyed a delicious, traditional French breakfast. Packed our bags and left for St. Tropez. Drove along the beautiful coast and arrived in St. Tropez around noon. Wandered the streets, admiring the boutiques and the old part of the city.

We grabbed some sandwiches at a boulangerie and set off towards Marseille. We arrived in Les Calanques at 3pm where we met Aurore, a friend of the Pouthiers, who's "fishermen's cottage" we are staying in for the next three nights. It's absolutely adorable and just up the street from the sea. We settled in, then went out exploring the rocky coastline. They have a private calanque (or inlet) that you can hike down to, so we enjoyed some time there, just admiring the scenery.

Relaxed for the rest of the evening and enjoyed salad, cheese and bread for dinner.

Off to see Cassis today and Aix-en-Provence tomorrow.
